The Northern Knights are looking for volunteers who have a strong interest in Talent Identification. This role will involve the recruitment of talent in the Northern Metropolitan Region of Victoria and will take in the following Junior football competitions: Northern Football League, Yarra Junior Football League, as well as midweek and weekend school competitions.
The Keon Park Stars Junior Football Club will have their own Youth Girls team this years, a year after affiliating with the Lalor Stars Women's Football Team. 
The Northern Football League would like to congratulate Montmorency JFC Under 17 Blue coach, Darren Boulton, on receiving the 2009 AFL Victoria Youth Coach of the Year.
